What Services Do I Offer?

Fees

Each 50-minute session is £50, payable before the session on the day.

I also offer limited spaces for clients on a low income—please feel free to ask if you'd like more information.

Face to Face

We can meet in person at my counselling room in Shillingstone North Dorest, which provides a safe and confidential space away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Here we can explore your thoughts, feelings, actions and relationships allowing you to become more self aware and then able to make changes.

Whatever you wish to share with me, I will always listen deeply and respond without judgement.

Online and by Phone

Life can be very busy and sometimes it is not possible to fit everything in. To help with this, I also offer telephone and online counselling.

Some clients simply feel more comfortable working in this way, whilst others request a telephone or Zoom call occasionally.

Whatever your preference, we will work together to empower you to find your own solutions to the issues that are troubling you.

Walk and Talk

Nature can be incredibly healing and counselling in the fresh air on a sunny day can be particularly powerful.

If you would be interested in working in the outdoors, sometimes called 'walk and talk', please let me know and we can choose from a number of meeting places and walks that are ideal for counselling.

On rainy days, we can also take shelter in my counselling room at Shillingstone or bring a coat and umbrella.

Short-Term, Issue-Based Counselling:

After an initial assessment and goal-setting, we’ll work through six focused sessions to address a specific issue in a structured way.  Even though you may have multiple interconnected issues we will focus on one issue and work on that.

Longer-Term, Person-Centred Integrative Counselling:

This ongoing counselling adapts to your evolving needs.  We will look at the 'big picture' and focus on multiple interconnected issues.  Every six weeks we will review progress and decide where to go next.

Mindfulness-Based Person-Centred Counselling:

Incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, and cognitive therapy, this longer term approach uses meditation, breathwork, and movement to support natural healing.  We can introduce a Buddhist / Vedanta perspective into this approach if this interests you.

Rich offers walk and talk sessions in nature if you enjoy the fresh air.
